heh. Also, the ip in question is still having low ports filtered. I
called to ask cox about this, and level 1 bounced me to level 2
^H^H^H^H^H^H hold and disconnect. I'll try again tomorrow if Mesa
decides it can have consistent power.

FWIW, and for posterity (thank you google), the conext ups I have
cheap (cnb900) is apparently running the same serial I/O as an APC
BackUPS. Now, to convince both ends of the cable to listen to each
other.
