Subject: Can I have a little KDE on my potato
Hi Marc,

I did the apt-get install task-kde and a beta version installed
complete with a warning that I would experience some crashes.
Not what I would like to do.

I recently installed Mandrake and literally drooled over
KDE/Koffice...ETC. It has been a while since I last installed
KDE and it has really improved.

My Favorite distro is Debian and would like to stay with it. As
an added incentive my employer likes Debian also.

So I guess I will have to upgrade to Woody.

Any other choice?

Thanks,
Keith

Reply-To:

try issuing the following line:

$ apt-get install task-kde

This worked during 2.1 dev process, and might have changed since.
You
might also want to direct your question to the debian-kde list.
