Primarily because of speed on imap, I use NS-4 for email. I tried KMail
from KOffice 1.1, sylpheed and didn't feel inclined at this point to
work thru all the dependencies for evolution and the only I can tolerate
is still NS-4. I don't tunnel thru SSH so I can't tell you whether any
of these would work better in that scenario but when I am playing road
warrior, I just use a web browser and access the web served imap folders
with IMP (apache/php4/mysql) and use a self signed certificate.
