Printing to windows printers

I am bringing up an old question again as I am still having the problem. I
am not able to get my RH7.2 workstation to print to my network printers. I
am on an internal network. The printers are attached to an NT40 server. I
can ping the server from the Linux box but cannot print. I have deleted and
re-added the printers in the printer configuration file. There are no
firewalls between them. What can I do?
