Hi peeps,
Ive re-installed this compaq xl 560 box after we had a mass brown out =
that killed the drive itself for a while,
anyways alls is back to normal ive rebuilt using kernel 2.4.5 .. In the =
sound set there is a Wss / Mss driver ad1848 that probes in fine using
modprobe ad1848 io=3D0x530 irq=3D7 dma=3D3
now all volumes are at max including the mic which as we all know =
screams the house down when the speakers are close to the mic. So does =
anyone know of a decent mixer in ncurses or summat like alsamixer for =
normal oss operation?
if needs be il throw on the alsa drivers and compile in the mixer using =
the same values
