Subject: Compaq Deskpro XL 560 sound issue
Would be slackware ...

I have RH 6.2 i could go for it i guess but i dont think the kernel any
longer supports this card.

Ive read posts from Alan Cox but that was re: kernel 2.0.1 ad1848.c kernel
patches

there is no reference to a driver in the kernel source in either the
documentation or in the help section of make menuconfig.

as far as sndconfig goes i would not hold my breath
