I gave SuSE another try however, i'm finding it more difficult to use =
than RedHat. I like the look and feel of it, however, I don't see =
that it's supported as much as another distro's of linux. If i'm wrong =
then please fill me in.
For Example, let's start with x-chat from
www.xchat.org. I see rpm's =
for redhat and madrake, but nothing for suse. How would you go about =
getting xchat 1.8.6 installed for suse? I tried the redhat/mandrake src =
rpm but that failed miserably.
I also went to
www.rpmfind.net and xchat is listed for just about =
everything except suse. This seems to be common for any program your =
trying to find.
Am i missing something here or is SuSE just not supported that well from =
the outside world ?
