there is some way to do this, but it has been YEARS since I have
played... Typically I just do an install from CD. If the machine does
not have a CD installed then I open up the box and temporarily give it
one ;-)

But first you might want to try again what you did and give it all the
networking info (I expect that it would need to know how to talk to the
network and whom to talk to if it is doing an install over the network
;-)

that should be fine, I was just brainstorming on what could be the
problem... like I said it was a SWAG (scientific wild ass guess).

not sure what to think about the kissy in these cercomnstances, but that
asside, I also recall that there is some way to do network installs, but
I cannot help you much there...
