Named DNS question

Sorry, forgot to add you are pointing to locslhost as the NS machine.
Bind will (I'm pretty sure) look at that and say ok so host localhost on
network dns.vlan.sic is the authoritative server.... and you see where
that will leave you if you don't have a machine named
localhost.dns.vlan.sic on that network.
