What makes you think OpenBSD is more suitable than Linux for an

For what purpose? If you're referring to MacOS X, then I think you're
mistaken. Apple didn't base MacOS X on OpenBSD. (MacOS X is based on
the technology that came from NeXT which (IIRC) was something more
along the lines of BSD 4.2 with a Mach microkernel.)
