Well, any of the following come to mind:
1) higher rates
2) worse service
3) no service
4) cox splits out (there aren't any other @home providers in the
valley, are there?) and 'lives' separately
5) buyout, leading to options 1-3 again :-)
Hum, I wonder if I've recouped costs by purchasing the cable modem vs
renting it yet....
