Education / Exprience:
* A minimum of 4 years experience.
* 4 year college degree in Engineering or computer Science preferred.
Skills required:
* Individual must be motivated, ambitious, and responsible.
* Must be very fluent with all aspects of BGP4.
* Experience with WAN and LAN technologies including SONET, BGP4,
OSPF, VRRP, 10/100/1000 Ethernet, switching, routing, multihoming,
peering, VLANs, ACLs, OSI Layers 1 - 7, etc.
* Experience with OC48, OC12, OC3, DS3, and T1 WAN circuits, as well as
fiber, UTP, and coax LAN/MAN connectivity.
* Experience with Internet and Telecom network infrastructure design,
deployment, and troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of SNMP, DNS, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, and other server-side
protocols and systems.
* Experience with Foundry/Tiara/Juniper Networks equipment.
* Ability to have fun!
Optional/Helpful skills:
* Experience with Linux, *BSD, and/or UNIX systems and networks.
* Routing/Switching protocol design and development.
* Experience with Tier-1 Telecom Carrier networks.
* Experience with data centers and/or colocation facilities.
* Abilty to consume pizza and large quantities of Mountain Dew.
