reporting error logs

well i know this is silly...but if I would like to send a copy of my samba
log to a samba list, so that other people can suggest how i fix a particular
problem, what is the best way to that?

in windows, i would copy and paste a few lines from an error log (were there
one) and shoot off an e-mail. but RH 7.1, or Netscape maybe, will not let
me paste into a Netscape mail message anything I have copied from the text
editor (Kwrite). Thus I don't know how to mail to others a copy of my log.

specifically, how is the best way to do that?
