If you are running KDE, bring up Kppp. If you're running a recent
distribution, you will probably find it under:
Kmenu-->Networking-->Remote Access-->Internet Dialer.
You can also bring it up by typing kppp on the command line in a
terminal window.
It is pretty straight-forward from there...
