The point I was making was this: David mentioned that Mac OS X might be
based on FreeBSD, which it is, and that switching to it essentially is
switching to *nix. I said, "Yes it is, and it's probably closer to a
true UNIX than Linux is". Just a matter of fact remark, take it or
leave it. Sorry to offend people's sensibilities, but this potential
flame war didn't find its spark in my original message.
