What's wrong with this command?

Subject: What's wrong with this command?
I have just had better luck getting things to do what i want useing
xargs. I have used both in the past but have found that the xargs way
seems to be the way that outputs what I expect it to do, while sometimes
the -exec will not.

I am not sure why.
