What is at each end of the connection? Are you dialing into your office,
using the Internet via full-time connection? Are you using Linux on PCs at
each end, a Cisco or other dedicated router, or a combination of Windows and
something else? Do you need to connect a single remote machine or a
network-to-network?
There are several different approaches, but you need to make sure your
combination is compatible.
