VPN Information

Hello,

I am planning to configure VPN on my gateway(linux), which is connected to 3
other machines(Solaris 8, linux, Windows 2000). When I was reading on-line,
I came across IP Sec, SSH and PPP, PPTP etc..
I want to install best of the class and of course it should be compatible
with Linux 2.4 kernel. Could you guys steer me right direction.
