Subject: OpenBSD with X continued
Since no one objected to this thread(for that I am grateful), I am going to
post my system information and symptoms and see if any of you all could
offer any advice :)

Hardware:
Nvidia Geforce 2mx (made by winfast)
Atlon 1 ghz processor
256 Megs of Ram
40 Gig HD
Futura Monitor
MS Intellimouse
MSI K7T pro Motherboard
Other non-related stuff

Software:
OpenBSD 2.8 dual boot with Win2k (working fine, I already set the boot.ini
in windows to recognize the openbsd.pbr file).

Situation:
Can boot to BSD command line no problem
Have made user beside root
have installed BASH
Have installed tar xvzf /usr/home/<user>/ports.tar.gz
I have installed both XFree86 4.0.2 with 4.0.3 update
When I run startx I get the shell with the BSD# and a mouse pointer and an
ugly clock :) When I move my mouse the screen flickers and nothing responds
except for the prompt. However when I type more than 6 commands the prompt
moves off the bottom of the screen and does not scroll.

My ultimate goal is to install a windows manager like KDE and have apache
running a full time FTP/HTTP server. I would also like my 98 box to have
access to my files on the unix server.

Any help would be greatly apprieciated.
