Has anyone used CIPE?

Hey all

    I'm thinking about using CIPE for allowing traffic into our network through 
our firewall.  Does anyone have any expirience with it.  Has anyone 
successfully implemented this through a firewall, as opposed to "to" the 
firewall?  I've skimmed through the how-to, and it doesn't look too 
complicated, but it doesn't cover exactly what I would like.  What other 
options are there?
