In this case no. They are service-filtering inbound at the routers. I
called them about 6+ months ago and talked to a NOC engineer. Apparently
they decided to do a blanket-policy implementation rather than just block
people that were abusing it. Not fair in my book, but from the NOC
perspective I can relate. It's much easier to write a couple o'lines of ACL
than a few pages. Aside from the blocked incoming services, the tv/vdsl
service is awesome.

(note: theoretically you can run http/ftp/whatever on a different port and
it works just fine. for my needs however I have to use the default port
numbers. oh well!)
