Have you tried checking for a student job around campus?

I found a job on campus doing sysadmin work for Windows/Linux/Unix(Solaris) and
there is also a student employee working in the same group doing Java
programming. The hours for student jobs are usually very flexible for 20
hours/week and can lead to good work experience for elsewhere.
