I've noticed this morning that my laptop ( now running 2.4.2 ) has a
process, kapm-idled, which is eating my cpu when I'm idle. I'm wondering
if this is a new idle daemon and what it does. AIX has such a beast. One
of the other things I note is that my cpu isn't running very idle due to
this beast.
Should top ignore this thing when reporting cpu usage? Both it and gkrellm
are counting it in calculating cpu usage.
