I use Trinity OS stuff - I think it's very comprehensive.

I have no experience with BSD stuff but from what I read, FreeBSD is far
more security conscious than any linux stuff.

Commercial stuff is trading off on you lack of knowledge for a price. I
personally preferred to learn how all this stuff works.
