looking for a program

"bc converts constants into internal decimal numbers using the current
input base, specified by the variable ibase. (There is an exception in
functions.) The legal values of ibase are 2 through 16."

I've done it all (poorly) in my head for the few things I've needed for
years, but at Mot they used to use bc from the command line :).
