KDE Mail Client ERROR

Had to reinstall SuSE 6.4 after a crash. Have most things work except

for the KDE Mail Client. When checking for new mail I get the
following:
    Pop Mail Error
        Account: clay
        In OPEN:
        Unknown Error
There help does not cover anything like this.
Does someone know a solution?
