2 linux boxen not talking

Subject: 2 linux boxen not talking
They are on the same network Segment. the netmask for both is
255.255.255.224.
This is a Redhat system, though I doubt that will help much.

Are they on the same network segment? Might it be that your netmask isn't
correct?
