gdm(?) login screen gone

\_ Any pointers or suggestions on how to boot directly into run level 5 and
\_ get the GUI login back or how to begin attacking this would be appreciated.

\_ I'm running Redhat 6.0

rpm -Va and see if anything seems to have changd, particularly the
config files.
