Subject: Unable to connect to net
Possibly a name resolution (DNS) issue. Once connected, try to ping
something by IP address and then by name.

wharfrat# ping 216.115.108.243
PING 216.115.108.243 (216.115.108.243): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 216.115.108.243: icmp_seq=0 ttl=241 time=193.841 ms
64 bytes from 216.115.108.243: icmp_seq=1 ttl=241 time=178.618 ms
64 bytes from 216.115.108.243: icmp_seq=2 ttl=241 time=178.156 ms

wharfrat# ping yahoo.com
PING yahoo.com (216.115.108.245): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 216.115.108.245: icmp_seq=0 ttl=241 time=406.433 ms
64 bytes from 216.115.108.245: icmp_seq=1 ttl=241 time=437.292 ms
64 bytes from 216.115.108.245: icmp_seq=2 ttl=241 time=390.758 ms

If the IP addy works, but the name doesn't... check resolv.conf. Should
say something like:

search myisp.net
nameserver 192.168.33.33

Also, use nslookup to troubleshoot. If you are not familiar with nslookup,
type: man nslookup.

Hope that gets you going in the right direction,
...Kevin
