OT:Palm + Telnet + IR + keyboard

Hey all...

This may be a little off topic, however I know that
a lot of you use Palm/Handspring devices so maybe you can
help me.

I just recently got myself a visor.
To make things more interesting I got some
more equiptment Nokia 8290 and Stowaweay keyboard.

I was able to get the keyboard working without any problems.
I have researched the topics of IR communication and now
I can connect to the net using IR port on my phone and
on my palm. The question is:
When I use telnet application over the IR link
I seem to have problem using keyboard. Is there a way to
configure the stuff so it works well together?
