Subject: Fix for GLIBC's /etc/libc.so ?
If you've found the fix (or A fix, for that matter), remember to
double-check it and send it to the package maintainers, so that they know
and can disseminiate that accordingly to the next guy that tries to do
whatever it is you're doing...

This doesnt generate the missing _xstat warnings:

/* GNU ld script
Use the shared library, but some functions are only in
the static library, so try that secondarily. */
GROUP ( /lib/libc.so.6 /lib/ld-2.2 /lib/libc_p.a /lib/libc_nonshared.a
)


The original suggestion in the FAQ was:

GROUP ( libc.so.6 ld.so.1 libc.a )
or in ix86/Linux and alpha/Linux:
GROUP ( libc.so.6 ld-linux.so.2 libc.a )
