I suggest that you may have taken the best (and easiest) step already,
Vaughn. You are right, there are lots of people who contract, both short
term and long, both paid and free, on various Linux projects. We also
have a few position marketers (god, I hate the term headhunter) who post
position availabilities relative to Linux. Keep on reading, and you just
find what you are looking for.
