since you mentioned this - and this is definitely Off Topic but I had to
relate a client that had his Windows hard drive partitioned into a 2Gb C:
and 4Gb D: drive, which of course the C: drive had little free space. So I
removed the 'office' suite from a well known commercial software package and
installed the new version on the D: drive. There was 324Mb free on the C:
drive before installation and 107Mb free after the installation which of
course was on the other partition. Before I clicked the 'install' button, I
couldn't figure out how come the full install was going to use less than
200Mb on the D: drive. After the install, it became obvious that the reason
was because it consumed 200Mb on the C: drive. Bloatware at it's finest.
