nfs problem

I have a directory on another server that I am
trying to nfs to. Whether I put it in fstab, or mount
it from the cli, It mounts just fine, but there is nothing
there. No complaints on either side, nothing in syslog.
There is nothing there? Without something complaining, I'm
havin a hard time locating the prob. It's not like I'm
a complete stranger to nfs, but this one has me puzzled.
I have about 400 Mb's of files over there.
