Storm... has some quirks, I don't know if there's an nsswitch.conf file, but
seeing as it's daddy is debian, it probably does.

Check that DNS is second option for hosts, other than that.... some boxes
have a host.conf file which sets the order of name lookups.

We have a network here where the DNS is running on a NT (Nice Try) box. I
have a Storm firewall. I want the Storm box to use the DNS from the NT box.
The following is what is in the resolv.conf file. When I try to ping a
computer by name the Storm box can not find it. Am I missing something for
the DNS lookup?

domain cadtelnt.com
nameserver 192.168.1.205
