yea, there is actually code in cvs for apt that will let there be
3 different versions of Debian. Stable, Test and Unstable. basically
moving the current unstable to test and putting the cutting edge
packages into the unstable making it truly unstable unlike the
current unstable that is more than usable. Also it sounds like
it will be made easy to use packages from different sections. So
you can have a stable base, updated X from test and cutting edge Gnome
for an example.
