Subject: Lost ipconfig information
Thank you Hans. I got this fixed. One more question, I do I get the route
information saved so that it is the same after boot up every time? This
Storm box seems not to save the route information permanently after I use
the route command to set the routing information.

Thank You,

Add netmask to the config.

iface eth0 inet static
        address 10.5.5.99
        netmask 255.255.255.0
        network 10.5.5.0
        broadcast 10.5.5.255
        gateway 10.5.5.5

Technically you shouldn't need to add network and broadcast as they can be
derived from addy and netmask.
