My personal favorite is fdns.net , although you are stuck with an .fdns.net
extension.

I think the best thing you could do (if you had a static IP) would be
to find a friend or become friends with someone that could do this.
With how easy it is for anyone to get a static high speed connection
and a few static IPs, I am not surprised that the free services have
disappeared.
