Subject: RHCE
I just took my test about 2 1/2 weeks ago.. I've been a Linux admin for a couple years and found the class boring -- It may have helped if the class was taught by someone who knew what they were alking about (I took mine here in Phoenix with Global Knowledge). There were many occasions when I had to correct the teacher (I'm sure he hated me by the end of class :) ). I walked into the class thinking that it would be a much higher level -- not an 'Intro to Linux Sysadminning' class (that doesn't teach you how to pass the test).

The test wasn't bad, you actually had to know your stuff.

As for the respect? I think it helped out at work a little bit.. the other sysadmins want one :).

Just my $.02 :)
