OpenSSL

Anyone know if compiling openssl on an AlphaServer without Multi-Threading
enabled (in Compaq Tru64 v4.0D) Is going to cause a speed problem when using
openssh? (Or any other ssl-lib dependant app.)

The reason I ask is because the ./config script can't figure out what option
to compile with to enable it. And neither can I, I can't find it anywhere
in documentation. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
