Cistron Radius

I've been playing around with the Cistron Radius server for a little while
now. Kinda cool, minus the lack of documentation. Does anyone know if this
radius server is limited to text files or can it use databases too....
either mysql or postgresql. Is the PAM support it has worth anything?
