Subject: Kernel command line
It seems like on Fri, Jul 07, 2000 at 10:47:41PM -0700, Rick Rosinski scribbled:
Orig Msg> If I wanted to pass a parameter to the kernel during boot, how would I go
Orig Msg> about this? For example, I would want to pass "sb=240,7,1,6" to the kernel
Orig Msg> at boot. Is there a way to have this done automatically at boot time? Does
Orig Msg> it require editing of lilo.conf?
Orig Msg>

take a look at:
/usr/doc/HOWTO/BootPrompt-HOWTO.gz
if you have it installed.
Otherise get it off the web.

It is the best resource I have found for doing Lilo
command line and lilo.conf changes.

If you use Loadlin like I do it is a must read.
