SoundBlaster 32 and Kernel 2.4 test2

I am working with Kernel 2.4 test2 and noticed that there is no i/o base,
irq, dma, etc stuff for SB cards. It requires some creation of some
/proc/isapnp file. The instructions are just not enough. There used to be
kernel support for these settings, for kernel 2.2.x. This new kernel allows
for the drivers to be compiled in, but everything else is external.

My sb configuration is as follows:

240 - io base
7     - irq
1     - low dma
6     - high dma
300 - midi

any help is appreciated.
