What is the status on USB for Linux? Is it working yet? I have SuSE 6.4
running and it seems to have some scripts for USB drivers; is it a beta
thing or should it work? I bought a Microtek ScanMaker 3600 with a USB and
what looks like a COM port on the back of it, and I would like to try to get
it working. I tried it with my Win2k laptop but it wouldn't even come close
to recognizing it, let alone using it. This is my second scanner in two
days; I returned the Acer yesterday because of the same problems, plus it
doesn't seem to be supported at ALL on Linux. Any
comments/thoughts/suggestions?

Gracias
