I had a response from an experienced programmer who wants to
learn Linux / Open Source and had 19 years experience in programming
and business applications. Cobol was among her skill sets, and
since we do Cobol here, some of her time can be billable.
That person can work productively and mentor others in areas where
she has experience. This is an IDEAL situation! That means that
the team can be strong from the outset and we can make it work
in the business because it allows us to bill for much of the time we
spend on our projects.
