What module and dir is it looking for? You can usually designate a
non-standard dir for install, but if you really need it elsewhere and are
using a standard module it's better to install it in the right place, then
link from the non-standard location.
I would think, however, if it's hard-coded to a non-standard location it's
either not looking for a standard module or it's installation mechanism is
borken.
