Well, I am an openBSD newbie, but I know that on the openbsd page
(
www.openbsd.org) they answer your very question (in the FAQ section I
think). OpenBSD employs an interesting security Paradigm that is active. i
think they call it proactive security on the site. Also, they have loads of
integrated cryptography. The site has a wealth of info, check it out.
E-mail me off the list if you want to share experiences using it as a
newbie.
