Subject: Zip Drives and Permissions
The zip drive is probably set to noexec in fstab.

\_ Hi Gang;
\_ I am trying to learn C programming and using the Zip disks to
\_ store my programs on. Have no trobles creating directories
\_ and storing the source and executibles on the Zip disks. It is
\_ when I try to execute the program I get "permission denied".
\_ That is for me the owner and su to root. I can copies the
\_ execicutiable to my /home/clay and it possible to execute
\_ the program. What am I missing in the permissions that
\_ can be corrected?
\_ TIA Clay
\_
