Subject: VM/XEmacs and SMTP

\_ I've just set up the VM mail reader running under XEmacs, and now I'm
\_ trying to use it to send mail. I set up my SMTP server info under the
\_ mail config area in XEmacs, but no matter what I try, XEmacs always uses
\_ sendmail. How do I instruct XEmacs to send mail via SMTP?

You mean like SMTP straight to the machine in question?

This page goes over FSF emacs under NT, and would seem to discuss what
you're interested in. YMMV.

Given the ports of tcsh & emacs to NT, people have accused the greater
lesser-OS on my former desktops of being linux. :-)

You know what really gets my goat about the dumb command prompt under
windows?

cd d:
cd /foo/bar

and not

cd d:/foo/bar

Also, try: cd //server/share/dir/ ...last I checked, that didn't work
worth squat in command. tcsh was quite happy with it.

uhoh...the men in the nice white coats are coming to take me away

ha ha
ho ho
he he
