Dude... I just did the coolest thing. There is this pure Java SSH client
here...
http://www.mindbright.se/mindterm/
and I am at JavaOne wanting to read email at home via mutt, like always,
and they have a bunch of Sun Ray terminals and a few windows machines.
Well I can install ssh on a Windows box, I have a mirror of my favorite
ssh capable telnet program on my web server... but I was outta luck on
the Sun Ray boxes until now... they only run Netscape, no other software
is available on the server. So I installed the Java SSH applet and now
I should be able to log in and get a shell from anywhere without installing
anything. I'm still on the Windows box but am going to go try it on a
Sun Ray next.
SSH rocks.
